How to Find the Southern Cross Hotel
Situated near to Watford town centre, the Southern Cross Hotel is easily accessible from either the M1 or M25 motorways
From the M1, leave at Junction 5 and take the exit onto the A4008 (Stephenson Way) towards central Watford and at the first roundabout turn right then first left onto Radlett Road.
At the next roundabout turn right onto Orphanage Road, over the next roundabout going underneath the railway line until you arrive at a another (small) roundabout.
Turn right here onto Woodford Road and bear right on the slip road onto Station Road (Watford Junction Station will be on your right).
Continue straight on and bear towards the central lane of Station Road. At the lights continue straight across the A412 onto Langley Road where you will find the Southern Cross a few hundred yards up on the left hand side
From the M25, clockwise leave at Junction 19, anti-clockwise leave at Junction 20 and follow the main Watford/Hempstead Road towards central Watford (being wary of traffic cameras).
After a mile or so you will come to a large roundabout with a car-park in the centre, stay left and follow the road round to the next roundabout where you will turn left onto the A412 (Rickmansworth Road).
Turn left at the next set of lights onto Langley Road where you will find the Southern Cross a few hundred yards up on the left hand side
The Southern Cross Hotel is 800 yards (10 minutes walk) from Watford Junction Railway Station.
Come out of the station, bear right and walk straight up Station Road, across the A412 and onto Langley Road where you will find the Southern Cross Hotel on the left hand side
